Foil Art


Glue and foil were the main components of today's lesson.

Step 1.  Crafty Girl's had to choose or design their own artpiece and draw onto a piece of card.

Step 2.  They then had to go over the art outline with PVA (wood glue) or with a hot glue gun.  Which we then allowed to dry fully.



Step 3.  Go over artwork with a glue stick.  Press a sheet of alfoil onto the image, folding the excess behind the board.




Step 4. Rub the alfoil with thumb to ensure it presses into all the grooves.




Step 5. Colour the artwork with either shoe polish or Pens. 



Step 6.  Felt pens may not work. Sharpie or Bic Mark it pens worked the 

best for us. Some of the girls rubbed the pen off with tissue before it
fully dried to lighten the colour slightly.
